One of the most famous and exciting Single Shot Rifles is the Heerenbüchse.

The vertical block action was invented in 1880. This fine example is a Stutzen made by Emil Kerner of Suhl in 1944. Caliber is 7x65R. Full engraving in typical German-Austrian style. Right side a Capercaille, left side a jumping Stag.
