“SUPER SAIVE” – BELGIAN OVER UNDERS

One of the many interesting makers in the wide range of belgian craftsmen in Liège, was Joseph Saive, 1919-1957.

 

Beeing the last member of a Gunmaker-Family who was active from 1893 to 1962, his specialty were superposed guns and rifles, called the „Super Saive“. You have to keep in mind, that Over Unders are not common in those times. The Side by Side was still the norm. Thanks to Marc for the pictures of this fine Saive Over Unders!
