Hunting with dogs is a great pleasure, in Germany we say ” Jagd ohne Hund ist Schund”. This means “Hunt without dog is Schlock”.
For more than 25 years I’m hunting with Deutscher Wachtelhund dogs. These dogs are very passionate, working on their own in woods on Wild Boar, Red Deer and other game. This means, they walk for great distances, always returning to their leader. But of course accidents can always happen and hurt the dog. A great tool for every hunter are the Tracker devices. I use the Collar of Tracker from Finland and appreciate it very much. Watching my Smartphone I’m always informed where my dog is, if she walks or stays and even if she barks or not.
